2nd C.L. Agrawal Moot Court Competition Hosted by School of Law, Raffles University Neemrana

The School of Law, Raffles University organized it's 2nd C.L. Agrawal Moot Court Competition from 6th to 8th April,2018 in collaboration with Rajasthan Education Trust. Students from 24 different Law Schools across India participated in this competition based on the issues of Criminal law and Family Law. The team of Tubing Dey, Amey Piley and Aditya Ladha from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, won the competition, while the team of Kanika Kalra, Manmeet Kaur and Prabhav Pachori from Law Centre -II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi grabbed the second position. The Inaugural Ceremony of the Moot Court competition took place on 6th April,2018 in which t he registration of all the teams along with the orientation was being done. With the advent of industrial revolution, labor law arose because the relationship between worker and employer changed from small-scale production studios to large-scale factories. The object of labour law is to safeguard the labor from profit seeking exploiters in the cut through competition era. As the world today is becoming a global village it is important to strengthen industrial relation. In today’s era it is very important to lay emphasis on employer-employee relationship and see that the labor today are not exploited and they get justice. Proper implementation of labour legislations is very important because it helps in the economic development of the country. Mr. Rajinder Chaudhary, a self-made young man of 85, who intends to work for at least another 20 years; inspired the students with his life story that saw the man change his carrier path as many as six times. Rajinder Chaudhary, a former wing Commander of the Indian Air Force (IAF), who now runs successful restaurants in Lithuania told the students that they should always shine to be better tomorrow that they are today. After a very inspiring speech in which Mr. Rajinder Chaudhary narrated his experiences in Lithuania as an honorary consulof India and how he has always tried to breach the culture of India and Lithuania, Mr. Chaudhary took questions from i nquisitive students. In the end, the Vice Chancellor of the University gave a vote of thanks to Mr. Chaudhary. His presence made the students enthusiastic about their future goals. When Education meets practice @ Raffles University: CEO of ‘Surana & Surana’ interacts with the law students.

11 th January, 2018 was an important day for the students of the School of Law, Raffles University Neemrana. Dr. Vinod Surana, Partner and CEO of Surana & Surana International Attorneys, visited Raffles University and addressed the students of the School of Law. It started with an inaugural speech by the Director General of the Raffles Group of Institutions, Dr. V. K. Ahluwalia, highlighting the importance of the legal profession in contemporary times and the contribution of Surana & Surana law firm in diverse areas of legal practice in India and abroad, as well as the personal contributions of Dr. Vinod Surana in Legal Research and Practice. Raffles University Neemrana had organised "The Legal Awareness Camp 2017"

On 10 th November, 2017 Raffles University, Neemrana had organised “ The legal awareness camp ” under the patronage of Rajasthan State Legal Service Authority, Jaipur and District State Legal Service Authority, Alwar . The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. K.S. Jhaveri who is an Executive Chairman of Rajasthan State Legal Service Authority and Judge of Rajasthan High Court.   Program was started with the welcome address by Chairperson Gomber Education Foundation Justice Dr. Meena V. Gomber who gave brief introduction about the awareness of legal aid in the country.
